QUICK STEPS TO GETTING STARTED
Here are some quick steps for how to get started using EcommerceThemes WordPress themes:
1. Get your domain name and web hosting
You’ll need a Linux hosting account, which is available with most of the popular web hosting companies like HostGator, Doreo and Lunarpages.
2. Install WordPress
Once you’ve got your hosting account and domain name, you’ll need to install WordPress. While WordPress is famous for it’s easy “five minute installation,” this is the most likely step in the process to run into difficulties. Which is why we offer free video tutorials on how to install WordPress.
2. Find your theme and buy it
Browse our Ecommerce Theme Store to find the theme that best fits your needs or simply suits your tastes.
Once you click the ‘Buy Now’ button, you’ll be given the opportunity to pay for your theme with a credit card or Paypal. Once payment has been processed, a download link will be e-mailed to you.
Download the theme, then extract or uncompress it.
3. Upload and activate your theme
Once you’ve got your theme you’ll need to upload it to your site and activate it. This is pretty simple, and we’ve got another free video tutorial to make it even easier: How to Upload and Activate Your Theme.
4. Get started posting your products online!
